one simple but important point: scroll down your blog and you will see lots of posts with zero illustration. Every post should have some, even if 1 image. a post on props would certainly illustrate the props - you could do that as a PowerPoint which you can embed through slideshare if you don't want a huge post with endless images Whenever possible, you also want to make clear and explicit the link between your ideas/planning and your research; the denotation (description) of what you want also needs to be very specific - these two points are linked! So, screenshots from existing films should be a very common feature of your blog, including posts like this 'gloves': fingerless, leather, black, wool, surgical, thick, scuffed, shiny new ... there are many possible options, so show you've thought through the semiotics very clearly; every choice should be calculated to help with some combination of: verisimilitude, signifying the genre, exposition and narrative, audience appeal
